Introducing the new Medicare dental buy-up quote and enroll feature for new and existing clients
We’re excited to introduce a new enhancement on Broker Connection—the Medicare dental buy-up quote and enroll feature! This functionality simplifies adding a buy-up dental PPO plan for your Blue Shield Medicare Supplement clients or an Optional Supplemental dental HMO or PPO plan for your Blue Shield MA-PD clients, making the process for adding dental coverage easier than ever.
Steps to enroll:
- Log into your Broker Connection account, and from the Medicare navigation menu, select Compare Plans & Enroll.
- Search for your client by their Medicare ID (MBI) number or contact information.
- Click on client’s name and view profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and click ‘Continue to plans’. Once on the plan list page, click on ‘Dental’ tab.
- Select effective date, click on ‘Continue to plans’ and choose from the available dental plans, ‘Add to cart’, and click ‘Continue to apply’, once you are at the cart.
Note: The beneficiary must be present to sign the application before submitting.

Plan G Inspire will no longer be offered effective January 1, 2025
Existing Plan G Inspire members may stay in the plan through December 31, 2024. For more information, refer to the Frequently Asked Questions. (PDF, 1 MB)
